The last great book I read is entitled, Nag Hammadi.

What's your favorite book no one else has heard of?

Two of my favorite books that no one else has heard of are called, The Kybalion and None Dare Call It Conspiracy.

Are there any classic novels that you only recently read for the first time?

A classic novel that I just got around to reading is, Uncle Tom's Cabin.

Which writer would you want to write your life story?

I think I would like James Baldwin to document my life and write a book on it.

What books do you find yourself returning to again and again?

The Bible. The more I experience in life, the more I understand the allegories within.

What moves you most in a work of literature?

Taking chances. Bending the "rules". I like reading things that may be considered ahead of its time. To do this, the writer must be brave enough to take risks.

What kind of reader were you as a child?

As a young child, I disliked reading. As a teenager, I would only read for school assignments. At 19 or 20 years old, I read because I was not satisfied with the answers to my sporadic questions. Eventually, reading became an obsession to find truth.

You're organizing a party. Which two authors, dead or alive, do you invite?

I would invite James Baldwin and Maya Angelou.

Who is your favorite fictional hero?

My favorite fictional hero is Spider-Man. Spider-Man's demeanor is a character I related to most growing up.

What kind of books or writers have impacted your life?

The Kybalion impacted my life in a way that provided me with answers during a long philosophical journey of uncertainty.
