An Eye-Opening Masterpiece
Kayil York’s passion in writing have let her write a book that inspires and help others to overcome their hardships in life.

Kayil York is a writer from Houston, TX. She is a Mother, Wife, and passionate writes. Red wine is her lifeblood and gin and tonic is a joy. For as long as she can remember she has been using writing as an outlet for all of life's circumstances. It has been a way to help others with their lives, as well as a means of showing them that their ends are only new beginnings. She writes in hopes to inspire others to stand strong and to not give up on themselves no matter how hard life hits.

What do you read when you’re working on a book? And what kind of reading do you avoid while writing?
Self help/growth books that challenge me or brings out the things I've learned about over the years so I can put those lessons to paper. I mainly listen to music- that's more of a muse to me when writing.
What moves you most in a work of literature?
The way the writer uses words, if it doesn't move me within the first few pages it's hard to continue reading.
What genres do you especially enjoy reading?
Self help/person growth, poetry, romance, mystery/thrillers
Who is your favorite fictional hero or heroine?
Angel from Redeeming Love - her resiliency was entirely moving and inspiring.
What kind of reader were you as a child?
I loved any and all books
Have you ever changed your opinion of a book based on information about the author, or anything else?
I Have never changed my opinion. I have merely been fascinated more to know how the author came to write what they did. To know how they delved into their mind to write such a work.
